Scandinavian Bountiful Temple Wedding | Susannah & Jacob | Utah Photographer

Scandinavian Bountiful Temple Wedding | Susannah & Jacob | Utah Photographer

This is one of the most unique and fun weddings I have ever photographed! First, they decided to have their reception the night before the wedding. I highly recommend that! They were able to enjoy their wedding day without the hurry and stress of the reception afterward.

With Covid-19 looming they had a wonderful drive-by reception. With the layout of the bride's aunt's house, it was perfect for everyone to be social distanced, meet all the important people and pick up a tasty treat on the way out. The mood was fun and light-hearted!

Susannah is an incredibly talented artist with a Scandinavian heritage. She, along with her father constructed large woodland animals to greet guests. There were beautiful spring flowers everywhere along with twinkling lights in the trees. It was magical. Susannah had the most lovely bouquet of wildflowers with a matching wreath on her head and trailing flowers down her amazing braid. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather so early in March.

Their wedding and sealing took place the following day at the Bountiful Temple. They were the last sealing of the day so they had the Temple all to themselves. It was very strange to have what is normally one of the busiest Temples so quiet.

I love photographing weddings! Watching two amazing families come together is so gratifying. Susannah and Jacob are a power couple and are going to help change the world. They are loved by so many people. That became evident by the line of people around the block and the loved that was showed to them at their reception. I am so blessed and honored that they asked me to photograph such an important even in their lives.

I would LOVE to work with you! Please contact me to book your wedding today! To view more of my work, follow me on Instagram or check out my wedding page.
