There is just something about photographing a Missionary! They are so ready to get started. Their light shines so freely. I LOVE photographing Missionaries!
I was especially excited to photograph Sam Balls for two reasons. First, I took his brother, Grant's photos, last year and he was awesome. And second, he is to serve in Argentina which is where my son served.
It was wonderful to see that Argentine flag once again. Sam proudly displayed it! We arrived at the Draper on a semi-cold afternoon. Sam is so outgoing and was so much fun to work with. He was accompanied by his wonderful mom and charming sister, Emma. I love her input on my photoshoots with her brothers.
Sam made my job easy and I didn't need to do much posing. He was a great sport in the cold breezes of the Draper bench! And as with Grant, Emma coached her brother wonderfully on how to do the perfect "High School Musical" jump.
